Q: What makes Philly Bow Wow LLC different from other dog walking services in Philadelphia?

A: Philly Bow Wow is your personal neighborhood dog walking service! We are solely focused in three neighborhoods: Fishtown, Northern Liberties, and Fairmount. Caring for your pet is our FULL time job.  We love all animals and have the experience & knowledge to back up that adoration with discipline and commitment. We strive to develop personal relationships with all of our clients, humans and animals alike! Feel free to call, text, or e-mail anytime.

Q: What is a "Meet and Greet" and what is the benefit of scheduling one before beginning regular walks?

A: Meet and Greets are opportunities for you and your pet(s) to meet with us & take the first step in developing a strong, personal relationship in the comfort of your very own home.  This is a great time to discuss any specifics regarding your loved one, the mutual expectations of services, and review our New Client consultation form.  We offer one (1) courtesy Meet and Greet before services begin.

Q: Are you bonded and insured?

A: Yes, we are bonded and insured through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA), LLC. You can find us in their directory listings by visiting and searching for "Philly Bow Wow".

Q: How will I know that you came to walk my dog or play with my cat?

A: We will send you a personalized text message or leave a handwritten note shortly after each visit, letting you know how it went.

Q: How do you bill me? What happens if I forget to pay on time?

A: Every Thursday, you will receive an invoice (via e-mail) for the week's services.  You may leave cash or a check made out to Philly Bow Wow LLC, and we will pick it up on Friday or during your next scheduled visit.  If payment is not left to be collected by your walker on the next scheduled visit, a $5 late fee will be applied.

Q: When are you available for service?

A: We provide walks and house visits during all weekdays (Monday through Friday) from 10am-6pm.  Special requests for nights and weekends may be available if prior arrangements are made.

Q: What if I need to cancel a walk?

A: Cancellations must be made three hours or more prior to the scheduled walk time to avoid being charged for the full price of the walk. If you cancel with a text or call, we ask that you please follow up with an additional e-mail.

Q: What are your severe weather policies?

A: We have thick hides to relieve pups in rain, snow, and shine! However, in situations of high risk, we reserve the right to make a judgment call to keep your pet -- as well as ourselves -- safe. Safety is our #1 priority.

Q: All of this sounds AWESOME.  Where do I sign up?

A: Our number is plastered all over this site, so give us a call or shoot us a text! Or, if you prefer, send an e-mail directly to:

We look forward to meeting you and your pet soon!
